“You smell.” One day, Taegyeol, a 20-year-old returning student, is abruptly told by a classmate he has never met before that he “smells.” Caught off guard by something he has never heard in his life, he tries to brush it off as a minor incident. Later, a careless remark from a teacher comparing him to another returning student from a different class leaves Taegyeol irritated. Acting on impulse, he heads to that classroom, only to run into the same person again. It is Muwon, the guy who told him he smelled. When Taegyeol confronts him about what he said earlier, Muwon dodges the question with vague, half-hearted excuses. Annoyed by his attitude, yet strangely unable to look away from him, Taegyeol ends up making the first move and asks to be friends. “Want to hang out later?” “I can’t…” Despite clearly saying no, Muwon is waiting for Taegyeol in front of the school gate after classes.
